Yasemin Sabuncu is a multidisciplinary storyteller working across performance, writing, visual art and video, who aims to create stories that uplift, engage and promote diversity in innovative ways. Yasemin explores ideas of belonging, identity, liminality, spirituality, the environment, race, health and being “the other.”
Yasemin has worked with clients like WOMAD, Footscray Arts Centre, Federation Square, Ethereum Foundation, E games Expo, Department of Innovation, Amnesty International, and Australian National Gallery to name a few.
Yasemin is an award winning creative and has won grants, scholarships and mentorships in her career.
Recently Yasemin was selected as Midsumma Pathways recipient for 2020/21, got selected into AFTRS Talent camp and also for a diversity scholarship in LA.
